The escapees found their way into the hands of the troops of the multi-national Task force, after disappearing from Boko-haram's net.

Ninety four of them were reportedly Nigerians were said to have been released to the representatives of the Borno state government, led by the Attorney General & Commissioner for Justice, KakaShehu Lawan.

A Statement shared on the verified social media handles of Borno state government said the MNJTF on Tuesday, received 106 civilians who escaped from the bombers.

The statement stated that out of the 94 Nigerians, there were, 37 male adults, 17 adult females & 40 children. The rest that made up 106 escapees, were from Cameroon & Chad respectively.

The publication said that while handing the 94 persons over to Borno state government, Commissioner of MNJTF, Major General, Ibrahim Yusuf, said it was captivating that some of the escapees voluntarily surrendered themselves to the headquarters sector 1 of the MNJTF in the far north Cameroon, while the women & children were rescued.

According to the Major General, Yusuf , assured us that interviews/investigations would be conducted to get some gists about the terrorists.
